Keith E. Miller DVM
Dr. Keith E. Miller is a native of Bulloch County, and graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School. He attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, graduated from veterinary school from the University of Georgia, and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1984. His desire was to return close to home and practice.
In 1986, Dr. Miller began practicing as the sole owner of Claxton Veterinary Clinic, and he still manages and owns this clinic. In 1989, Dr. Miller took over ownership of Metter Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Miller oversees both practices, and says he enjoys internal medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Miller is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.
In 1988, Dr. Miller married his wife, Kelly, and they have three grown children and four granddaughters. Their children are son Lane, daughters Meg and Kate, and granddaughters Ollie, Emmie, Stella and Mae.
Dr. Miller maintains a very busy schedule with routine examinations and surgeries at both clinics, but says in his spare time he loves the outdoors. He enjoys hunting, fishing and gardening, and enjoys spending time with his family and his friends.
Dr. Miller still loves practicing medicine and being able to help owners and pets lead better and happier lives together.
Gayle
Gayle has been the receptionist since March 1987. Born in Tattnall county and lives in Evan’s County.
She has 2 children and 2 grandchildren, a cat name Riggs and 3 grand dogs and 5 grand cats. She is a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Aaron
Aaron has been with the Claxton Veterinary Clinic since March of 2000. She assists in surgery, radiology, preventive care, emergency care and hospitalized patients. Her family currently has 2 dogs, a Chihuahua Angel and a French bulldog Clyde and 2 orange tabby cats Fred and George.
Aaron grew up on a small farm in rural Michigan, were she learned to love and care for all sorts of animals. After high school, she moved to Glennville and meet her husband Jonathan, they have 2 children Savannah and Memphis. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her son play football and spending time with her daughter shopping and watching their favorite shows.
Hannah
My name is Hannah and I have been working with the Claxton Veterinary Clinic since April 18th, 2021. I am attending Ogeechee Technical College for the Veterinary Technology Program.
Tyler
Tyler has been working at Claxton Veterinary Clinic since August 26th 2022. From a very young age he has always had a passion for veterinarian medicine and all things animal. He currently has two sweet fur babies, a chihuahua mix BB and a dachshund Gibbi.
